DISNEY CHANNEL GAMES ARENA CHALLENGE

Disney Channel Games Arena Challenge was a premium, multiplayer gaming platform targeted to tweens developed for exclusive use in Disney Connection. We created an online adaptation of Disney Channel's summer miniseries that pitted top talent against one another in fairground-type games. This online game had the player create an avatar and join a team to compete in chat-enabled, multiplayer tournaments to win virtual personal and team trophies and ribbons.
Concept Development
Creating the online version of the Disney Channel Games required detailed concept work relating to game play, visual development and UX.
Award System
A robust award system recognized personal, team and tournament accomplishments with live talent interstitial messaging and humorous trophies and ribbons. On could click on another player's avatar icon to see a display of their awards.
Live Talent
Matching the branding and spirit of the on-air property meant creating and compositing live talent video assets into game interfaces throughout.
